Photo Flash: Neil Patrick Harris Teases 'Secret' Upcoming Project Neil Patrick Harris turned to Instagram over the weekend to tease a 'secret' project which he filmed at New York's famed Plaza Hotel. The Tony Award winner captioned the photo (at left) "Yesterday I filmed a secret thing that I can't discuss, but it was filmed at the Plaza Hotel. When we wrapped, they let us stay in a fancy penthouse suite and have tea in the Palm Court. The kids were blown away (as was I). Thanks, @theplazahotel, for spoiling my children. #eloise"

As BWW reported earlier today, Harris has inked a deal to lead Netflix's series adaptation of Lemony Snicket's A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS in which he will take on the role of the villainous Count Olaf, portrayed by Jim Carrey in the 2004 film. As of now, it remains uncertain if the mysterious project at the Plaza is related to today's announcement.

Harris recently hosted the NBC variety series BEST TIME EVER. He has received four Emmy nominations for his role in CBS's long-running comedy series HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.

The talented star is the recipient of four Emmy Awards for hosting the Tony Awards. He received a fifth Emmy for his memorable guest-starring role on GLEE. NPH also picked up a Tony Award for his performance in the Broadway revival of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. His other theater credits include ASSASSINS.
