Photo Flash: Mike Doyle Joins the M Band

Brooklyn's newest cover band is ready to tour. After a successful appearance at The Producer's Club in Manhattan and positive feedback on MDemo, the band's first recordings, Reverend Mary and the M Band, led by Mary Elizabeth Micari and Andrew Liebowitz will begin touring clubs, halls, and bars. Joining them now is Mike Doyle. A guitarist since he was a teenager, Mike -- whose influences include Hendrix, Zeppelin, Mountain, and Cream -- played with several bands during his music career, eventually finding a niche playing bass in a Jazz Band, but he was itching to get back to playing Rock & Roll Guitar again. Mary's offer to join the MBand came at just the right time.

The band is looking at a February/March start time for tri-state tour.
