Hundreds of guests representing the medical, entertainment, beauty, fashion, retail, publishing and pharmaceutical industries gathered last night for the 2015 Skin Cancer Foundation Gala. Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth was among those in attendance at Tthe Mandarin Oriental New York last night, October 22nd. Scroll down for a photo!

The Gala is an annual event where Skin Sense Awards are given in recognition of exceptional achievement in skin health, including public education about sun protection and skin cancer prevention. This year's Skin Sense Award Honorees are Maui Jim Sunglasses and Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation.Scott Perillo, Director, Global Brand Strategy, Maui Jim Sunglasses, and Bill Hinshaw, Executive Vice President, US Oncology, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, accepted the Skin Sense Awards, respectively.

The evening kicked off with a reception sponsored by Procter & Gamble's Olay, followed by a seated dinner and awards ceremony. Sam Champion (The Weather Channel) was the host of the evening. There were several other notable guests including Katie Holmes, Christina Hendricks, Kristin Chenoweth, Rebecca Ferguson and fashion designer Christian Siriano. There was also a special performance by Dan White, The Magician, who has produced magic for David Blaine and Kanye West.

The winner of the 2015 Skin Cancer Foundation Media Competition was also announced during the evening's program. The Media Award recognizes excellence in skin cancer editorial coverage that furthers the Foundation's mission. This year's finalists were Allure, Cosmopolitan, Dr. Oz The Good Life, Health and Vogue. Vogue was named the winner.
