Photo Flash: Keith Dames Hosts 'Homage To Eleanora' Billie Holiday Birthday Tribute at Manna House

Entertainer, vocalist and jazz aficionado Keith A. Dames presented his annual Billie Holiday birthday celebration "Homage To Eleanora" on Friday, April 8 & Saturday, April 9th at Manna House Workshops in East Harlem.

Dames - who has appeared at several venues throughout the New York City--metropolitan area - was joined by veteran jazz and Broadway pianist Lafayette Harris Jr for the two-evening event which honored the late music legend( born Eleanora Fagan on April 7) .

The event which showcasedseveral of Holiday's own compositions including "Billie's Blues", "God Bless The Child" and "Left Alone" was produced by SeMad Productions & Highway Productions In Association With Down Stage Pass. Founded in 1967, Manna House Workshops is East Harlem's oldest performing arts center.
