Photo Flash: Chita Rivera and Dame Edna Meet in Australia

The one-and-only Chita Rivera (West Side Story, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman) is currently in Australia for the very first time and she's singing up a storm in intimate cabaret settings – a la her successful engagement at Feinstein's - in Sydney; and this week Melbourne.  When she returns home she'll be gearing up to take her auto-biographical Broadway musical, The Dancer's Life, - for which she was nominated for her 9th Tony Award - on tour.  Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life opens the new Miami Performing Arts Center in January. 

She recently met up with the ever-lovely Dame Edna down under yesterday, where the two shared high tea.  Melbourne's most famous housewife, Dame Edna also received the keys to the City and was named "First Lady."
