Photo Flash: André Leon Talley On His Storied Career and Starring in a New Film at TimesTalks

Last night, TimesTalks, The New York Times live conversation and performance series, hosted an intimate evening with fashion editor, author, and curator, André Leon Talley, in conversation with fashion director and chief fashion critic of The New York Times, Vanessa Friedman.

Talley, a contributing editor of Vogue and a resident fixture in the world of fashion, shared stories about his unusual journey, from growing up in the segregated South to rubbing elbows with the most influential tastemakers of our time. The two also discussed "The Gospel According to André," an upcoming documentary about Talley's life, which will be released nationwide on May 25.
