The Woman in White opened Thursday, November 17th at the Marquis Theatre and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the Gypsy Robe Ceremony. The colorful Gypsy Robe, embellished with mementos from Broadway musicals, is presented to the cast member who has the most Broadway chorus credits. For The Woman in White, the Robe was presented to Elena Shaddow, whose credits include Fiddler on the Roof, Nine, Sweet Smell of Success and Les Miserables.

Directed by Trevor Nunn, the show features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by David Zippel and a book by Charlotte Jones (Humble Boy). William Dudley (sets and costumes), Paul Pyant (lighting), and Mick Potter (sound) make up the design team with Wayne McGregor behind the choreography and Simon Lee handling the music supervision.

Tickets for THE WOMAN IN WHITE are available by calling 212-307-4100, by visiting http://www.womaninwhitethemusical.com or at the Marquis box office.
