Photo Coverage: Susan Stroman Honored at Elan Awards

On October 10, 2005 Geoffrey Doig-Marx, Bruce Robert Harris and Dance Spirit Magazine presented the 6th Annual Elan Awards, honoring Susan Stroman at FIT's Haft Auditorium. The award was presented to Stroman by by Hal Prince. Now in its 6th year, The Elan Awards is a unique event celebrating choreography by producing new works by selected choreographers.
Past recipients of The Elan Awards include: Lar Lubovitch (2004), Rob Marshall (2003), Ann Reinking (2002), Jerry Mitchell (2001) and Graciella Danielle (2000). Participants in this year's Elan Awards include: Hal Prince, Boyd Gaines and the cast of Contact, Nina Buisson, Lauren Putty, Bradley Shelver, Danielle Genest, Caron Eule, Dee Caspary, Tracie Stanfield, Geoffrey Doig-Marx, Rebecca Kelly, Jeff Amsden, Graham Lustig and Rhonda Miller.
