MANHATTAN THEATRE CLUB presented its Annual Spring Gala on Monday, May 19, 2008, at the New York Hilton, 1335 Avenue of the Americas, at 53rd Street. The show included numbers from this season's best musicals, including A Catered Affair featuring Tom Wopat, Cry-Baby, Gypsy, Jump, In The Heights, and The Little Mermaid, amongst others. Stars from the current season at MTC also made special appearances, including S. Epatha Merkerson (Come Back, Little Sheba), Martha Plimpton (Top Girls), Marisa Tomei (Top Girls), Julie White (From Up Here) and Bobby Cannavale (Mauritius).
All monies raised from this annual event, including a silent auction, will benefit MTC's play and musical theatre development programs and its extensive educational outreach programs.For more information please visit www.mtc-nyc.org.
