Broadway star-turned country singer Laura Bell Bundy has been making the promo rounds of late for her newly released album 'Achin' and Shakin.' Yesterday, the star made her debut on Chelsea Lately and performed live at the Highline Ballroom in New York City, all after announcing the CMT Award nominations on People.com - earning her own nomination for Breakthrough Video of the Year for her first single, "Giddy On Up." BroadwayWorld was on hand for Bundy's concert last night, where she performed tracks from 'Achin' and Shakin.'

Bundy's new country album was released in April. Bundy wrote 11 of the 12 tracks on the album which is a mixture of soulful and upbeat country songs.

Bundy performed the single 'Giddy Up' At the Country Music Awards on April 18. The single debuted at #60 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. 'Achin' and Shakin' is Bundy's first mainstream album, her first album was released in 2007, and titled 'Longing For A Place Already Gone.'

Bundy was nominated for a Tony Award in 2007 for her performance in LEGALLY BLONDE. Bundy also originated the role of Tina Denmark in RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL. She has also performed on Broadway in HAIRSPRAY, orignating the role of Amber Von Tussle and was also a Glinda stand-by in WICKED.

Bundy is featured in the current issue of People Magazine on stands now.

She will also be featured on GAC's Headline Country Flood Relief show, premiering on Thursday, May 13 at 9PM/ET. Tune in to see Bundy perform an acoustic version of "Everybody" from her album Achin' and Shakin'.
