Photo Coverage: Kathie Lee Gifford Visits 'Xanadu'

Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb of the Today show visited Whoopi Goldberg and the rest of the Xanadu cast yesterday afternoon, August 6th, 2008.
Well-known as the former host of Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, she has received 11 Emmy nominations. Earlier this year, Gifford started co-hosting the fourth hour of NBC's Today Show with Hoda Kotb.
Whoopi Goldberg joined the cast of the hit Broadway musical "Xanadu" on Tuesday, July 29th for a special six week engagement through Sunday, September 7th. After the show, Broadway World was on hand as Ms. Goldberg and her fellow cast members greeted fans and signed Playbills. Ms. Goldberg is playing the role of Caliope. Jackie Hoffman, who created the role, will be releasing her new cd "Jackie Hoffman Live from Joe's Pub" and will return to the production on September 9th.XANADU was nominated for 4 2008 Tony Awards including Best Choreography, Best Book, Best Actress and Best Musical. The show received the 2008 Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical as well as the 2008 Drama Desk Award for Best Book of a Musical (Douglas Carter Beane).
