Photo Coverage: Julie Taymor Honored at Muse Awards

The New York Women In Film & Television's 27th Annual Muse Awards were held at the New York Hilton's Grand Ballroom (1335 Avenue of Americas) on Thursday, December 13, 2007. 

The Muse Awards is the entertainment industry's top holiday season event and honors the vision and achievement of women in film and television. It is an exciting, fun and glamorous celebration, attended by leading executives from every major studio, broadcast and cable networks and film production facilities.

The 2007 Honorees included: Jennifer Jason Leigh (Actor/Director) of Margot at the Wedding, Georgia, Anniversary Party; Julie Taymor (Director) of Across the Universe, Frida, Titus; Suzana Peric (Music Editor) of The Pianist, Kundun, Philadelphia; Lauren Zalaznick President of Bravo Media.  The Loreen Arbus Award Recipient was Gale Anne Hurd, Writer/Director/Producer of The Incredible Hulk, The Punisher, Terminator.
