So you've made it through the soggy days of Spring. Now it's time to toss aside those raincoats and galoshes, and celebrate the start of summer with a Memorial weekend of music, song and fun at Bay Street.

The lively musical weekend begins on Friday and Saturday, May 22nd & 23rd at 8pm, with two rockin' nights with Grammy-nominated Phoebe Snow. From the album that spawned her top hit "Poetry Man" to her multiple recordings and tours, Phoebe must be included in the list of the most famous musicians of our time.

Ms. Snow's career began at the Bitter End in the early 70's, and has been soaring ever since. She has performed with some of the finest musicians of our time-from Paul Simon to Bonnie Raitt-the list is as eclectic as her style. Part pop, part jazz, part funk, Ms. Snow's voice is as expansive and eclectic as the people with whom she has shared the stage. She continues to be one of the most distinctive singer/songwriter's of our day, demonstrated by her loyal fan base. If you've never seen her live, this is one not be missed!

Moving on to Broadway fun... If you caught Monty Python's Spamalot or watched the action of The Full Monty, then you may already be familiar with the awe-inspiring talents of husband/wife duo Marin Mazzie & Jason Danieley, who will be performing on Sunday, May 24th at 8pm at Bay Street. This award-winning couple will amaze audiences with songs that have taken them from Broadway to London's West End to the Hollywood Bowl and back.

A three-time Tony Award nominee, Marin Mazzie most recently starred as the Lady of the Lake in Spamalot. Her Broadway credits include leading roles in Passion, Man of La Mancha, Into the Woods, Big River and Kiss Me, Kate for which she received Tony and Drama Desk nominations along with the Outer Critics Circle Award and later an Olivier Award nomination when she made her West End debut. A critically acclaimed actress and singer, Marin has also been heard in many of the country's major symphony halls. Television audiences may know her as Kathy Halverson on Still Standing, or for her guest appearances on Without A Trace, Numbers, Jake in Progress, and PBS Great Performances, to name a few.

Jason Danieley is also a triple threat-Broadway actor, singer and concert performer, Jason too has entertained audiences around the globe. He made his Broadway debut as the title character in Candide, directed by theatre legend Harold Prince, for which he took home the Theatre World Award, Drama League Award, and Drama Desk nomination. Most recently Jason starred in the Kander & Ebb musical Curtains for which he was awarded the Outer Critics Circle nomination. The song I Miss the Music (by Kander) was written specifically for him. In addition to his Broadway and concert hall credits, Jason is a frequent guest of City Center's highly acclaimed Encore series with leading roles in A Tree Grows up in Brooklyn and Strike up the Band.

All tickets for Memorial weekend shows are $65 while they last.
