Announced on star Patty Duke's web site, she will tour the country later this year in "Golda's Balcony," the show which recently concluded a successful Broadway run starring Tovah Feldshuh.

The actresses' web site reports that the tour schedule is not yet available, but it's expected to be kicking off in November in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The show was written by William Gibson (Miracle Worker) and is currently playing in Los Angeles with original star Feldshuh.

Golda's Balcony has the distinction of being Broadway's longest-running one-woman-show ever in October, 2004. Patty Duke launched to national stardom after starring as Helen Keller in the original Broadway production, and film of The Miracle Worker (for which she won an Oscar). Other Broadway appearances include Isle of Children, and the recent Oklahoma! revival. From 1963-66 she starred in her own TV series, The Patty Duke Show for which she received one of six Emmy nominations (with one win).

Check back for more details on the tour as they become available.
