Patrick Wilson to Star in Indie-Film 'Barry Munday'

Patrick Wilson (Bway's The Full Monty, Oklahoma! and numerous films) will star in indie pic Barry Munday, the story of a ladies' man who learns he's named in a paternity suit. Chris D'Arienzo will direct. The romantic comedy is based on the novel "Life Is a Strange Place" by Frank Turner Hollon.  Filming is set to begin Los Angeles in April.

Wilson just wrapped Watchmen and next appears in Lakeview Terrace and Passengers.

D'Arienzo is involved in several projects as scribe: La Vida Robot for John Wells Prods. at Warners; an untitled HBO drama produced by Tobey Maguire; and Rock of Ages, a hard-rock musical that will open Off Broadway in the summer.

This feature is that it is being produced by two savvy producers with NY Theatre credits Executive Producer, Scott Prisand (Legally Blonde, BKLYN, Bombay Dreams and Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life) and Producer Matthew Weaver  (in addition to numerous film credits upcoming off-Broadway musical Rock of Ages directed by D'Arienzo), together they make up Corner Store Entertainment. www.cornerstore-ent.com
