Parallel Exit, New York City's award-winning physical theatre company, presents MOVE IT! - a free evening presenting some of New York's most exciting physical and visual theatre artists. Featuring brand new solo acts from Parallel Exit's Joel Jeske and Danny Gardner, physical comedy from Harold Moeller, physical theatre from Lucas Caleb Rooney, and variety acts from Angelo Iodice and Miss Saturn, MOVE IT! will be presented at The Canal Park Playhouse on Monday, April 15th at 7:00pm and 9:00pm. Tickets are free and may be reserved by visiting www.parallelexit.com/moveit.

Parallel Exit launched MOVE IT! in the fall of 2006 to support and promote the work of quality physical theatre artists and companies in New York City. This performance series appears throughout the year to invite audiences to experience the diversity and excitement of physical and visual theatre artists working in dance-theatre, mime, puppetry, clown, and circus.

Parallel Exit, a two-time Drama Desk nomination for Unique Theatrical Experience and a "Spirit of the Fringe" award from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, creates physical theatre inspired by the films of Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin. The company's goal is to create moments of simple magic that can only be experienced live. Parallel Exit's work has explored a wide range of physical forms, from dance to vaudeville, live-action silent film to tap. The company's most recent production I LOVE BOB was a Critic's Pick in The New York Times.
