Producers of the five-time Tony Award-nominated Rock of Ages have announced that All-Pro Running Back DeAngelo Williams of the Carolina Panthers will complete the lineup for the hit musical's #BroadwayBlitz in celebration of Super Bowl XLVIII in New York City. Williams joins fellow National Football League (NFL) superstars Randall Cobb of the Green Bay Packers, Joique Bell of the Detroit Lions, and four-time Pro-Bowler Ahman Green in making their Broadway debuts in a special cameo role in Rock of Ages.

Cobb kicked off the series with an electric Broadway debut on Tuesday, January 28, and Bell brought down the house on Wednesday, January 29. Williams will take the stage on Friday, January 31 at 8:00PM, followed by Green on Saturday, February 1 at 2:00PM.

The #BroadwayBlitz is just one of the exciting ventures Rock of Ages has planned in the lead up to Super Bowl XLVIII. As previously announced, the cast performed on the Roman Numerals Stage of "Super Bowl Boulevard: Engineered by GMC" at 43rd Street & Broadway on Thursday, January 30, and - during the final hour before kickoff - will rock the official NFL Tailgate Party at the Grandstand at Meadowlands Racetrack and Game Day Fan Plaza outside of MetLife Stadium on Super Bowl Sunday, February 2.

The events surrounding the Super Bowl are just one in a long line of the Broadway show's unprecedented relationships with professional athletes and sports fans. Over the years, the show has drawn pro athletes from near and far - including such names as Eli Manning, Mark Sanchez, Rob Gronkowski, Tim Tebow, Clay Matthews, Amar'e Stoudemire, David Lee, Miguel Cabrera, Mark Teixeira, Joe Nathan, Alex Rodriguez, Johnnie Damon, and many more - a movement which inspired ESPN commentator Skip Bayless to proclaim that Rock of Ages "has rocked the sports world and America!"

The music that ignited a generation is heating up Broadway in Rock of Ages. The classic rock love story of the decade erupts into Broadway's Best Party, all to the sounds of such feel-good, sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", "I Wanna Know What Love Is", "Here I Go Again", "Don't Stop Believin" and more. Now approaching its fifth anniversary in April 2014, Rock of Ages continues to sell out performances at the Helen Hayes Theater. In addition to being a bona fide Broadway hit musical, Rock of Ages is currently rocking the Venetian Resort on the Las Vegas Strip; the open seas on Norwegian's newest cruise ship, The Breakaway; and the open road on its Third U.S. National Tour.

Tickets for Rock of Ages on Broadway can be purchased via Telecharge.com. The regular performance schedule is Monday at 8pm, Tuesday at 7pm, Thursday at 8pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm & 8pm and Sunday at 3pm & 7:30pm. During Super Bowl week, there will be added performances on Wednesday, January 29 at 8pm, and Friday, January 31 at 2pm. There will be no performances on Sunday February 2.
