PS Classics has released Christa Justus's debut album, 'Throw It to the Wind: The Songs of Maltby and Shire.'  The album, which features songs by Richard Maltby Junior and David Shire, will be available beginning on June 8, 2010.  In addition to Justus, the album features musical direction by arranger and composer Andrew Gerle and accompaniment by New York jazz musicians.  Maltby and Shire themselves are also featured on the album.

In addition to some of Maltby and Shire's better-known songs, such as 'Dancing All the Time,' 'I Hear Bells,' and 'I Chose Right,' the album includes 'A Girl You Should Know,' 'Throw It to the Wind,' 'You and the Sky,' 'A Little Bit Off,' 'Stargazer/Stars, Stars, Stars,' 'Coffee Black,' 'Life Story,' 'One Step,' 'The Word Is Love,' 'Autumn,' and 'I Wouldn't Go Back.'

Richard Maltby Junior and David Shire have collaborated on musicals including the Tony Award-nominated BABY and BIG, as well as revues STARTING HERE, STARTING NOW and CLOSER THAN EVER.
