Manila, Philippines, November 17, 2013--Casino and entertainment complex Resorts World Manila has just announced that it is going to unveil Broadway's ultimate party bus in the Philippines next year via Stephen Elliot and Allan Scott's musical "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert."

The crossdresser-friendly musical, based on the 1994 Academy Award-winning film "The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert," tells about the highly-entertaining and heart-warming friendship among three flamboyant characters: Bernadette, Mitzi, and Felicia. These three men travel across the Australian outback on a pink bus named Priscilla, which literally lights up the road with its strobing LED light finish that could possibly rival those bright neon lights in Times Square!

The show features familiar pop songs aplenty, including "It's Raining Men," "I Say A Little Prayer," "Material Girl," "Go West," "Holiday/Like A Virgin," "I Love the Nightlife," "True Colors," "I Will Survive," "Shake Your Groove Thing," "Pop Muzik," "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," "Hot Stuff," "Boogie Wonderland," and "Like A Prayer," among others.

Open auditions are set Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22 at The Vestibule, 3F Newport Mall, Resorts World Manila.

Resorts World Manila is looking for the following:

  1. Male performers, at least 5'6", who can dance and sing; he must be willing to cross dress (athletic physique a plus).
  2. Female performers who can sing.
  3. A young boy, between 11 to 15 years old, who can sing.

Auditionees should sing a pop song or showtune preferably from "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert." Please bring a resume and recent photos.
