Outer Critics Circle Hosts 'Horton Foote...The Journey' Panel Discussion, 11/4

In anticipation of the opening Horton Foote's plays The Orphans Home Cycle, The Outer Critics Circle will host a special panel discussion: Horton Foote...The Journey, an exploration of The Orphans' Home Cycle on Wednesday, November 4th (5PM) at Sardi's Restaurant in the Eugenia Room. The event will be chaired by OCC Executive Committee member Rosalind Friedman who will also serve as co-moderator along with OCC President Simon Saltzman.

The evening will include a buffet dinner, open seating and cash bar. Participating in the panel discussion will be Hartford Stage's Artistic Director, Michael Wilson; Founding Artistic Director of New York's Signature Theater, James Houghton and members of The Orphans Home Cycle company including Hallie Foote, Bill Heck and James DeMarse.

The Orphans' Home Cycle consists of 9 dramas by Horton Foote in repertory performed in three parts. Performances begin at the Signature Theater on November 5th.

Outer Critics Circle is the organization of writers and commentators covering New York theater for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway. Celebrating its 58th season of bestowing awards of excellence in the field of theater, the Outer Critics Circle, is an association with members affiliated with more than ninety newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations, and theatre publications in America and abroad.
