Olympia Dukakis, the Academy Award-winning actress who is currently starring in Roundabout's THE MILK TRAIN DOESN'T STOP HERE ANYMORE will appear for a reading of Brooklyn Story with the book's author, Suzanne Corso, at the Borders at Columbus Circle. The date replaces the originally announced January 30th.

Told from the adult perspective, the novel is described as a powerful story of leaving the past to history and the future to fate - as the protagonist makes a move to restore hope where there was none, and reach for her dream of a new life as a writer in an inspiring promise of paradise called Manhattan.

Olympia Dukakis won the Oscar in 1987 for her role in "Moonstruck." Dukakis has appeared on Broadway numerous times including in her own one woman show, ROSE. Other Broadway credits include SOCIAL SECURITY, WHO'S WHO IN HELL, ABRAHAM COCHRANE, and THE ASPERN PAPERS.

Suzanne Corso is the author of two feature film screenplays, which are based on her novels. Brooklyn Story, a young woman's coming of age tale (Simon&Schuster Jan 2011) and RoughCuts; The Trilogy. Currently, she is working on the sequel to Brooklyn Story.

Other upcoming events at this Borders location include TV host Jane Velez Mitchell on February 4th, teen actress/singer Miranda Cosgrove on February 6th, and Jenni "JWoWW" Farley from MTV's hit "Jersey Shore" on February 9th.
