Overruled returns for a good cause! Sunday, August 20th at Papillon Bistro & Bar, Prohibition Room.

Four alumni of The William Esper Studio in New York City are a producing a benefit featuring Overruled, a witty, one-act comedy by GB Shaw. Shiyr Productions, having been met with rave reviews in the past, will be reprising the humor this Sunday, August 20th at 2pm and all proceeds will go into a scholarship fund for one lucky student of this world renowned acting studio.

In an era of pleasure cruises, the Lunn's and the Juno's have each boarded a ship separate from their spouses to travel around the world and reunite full of renewed longing for each other. In pure Shavian style, Mr. Lunn and Mrs. Juno have fallen in love, Mr. Juno has fallen for Mrs. Lunn, and Mrs. Lunn is hungry. Confusion, delight, outrage, and desire all come into play when the four meet unexpectedly at a seaside inn.

Papillon's speak easy space makes it fun to dust off one's flappers and tailcoats to mingle with the characters as they navigate their way through confusing revelations of love and marriage. Grab a drink, grab a lover and enjoy the scandal.
