For the first time, the critically-acclaimed show Nunsensations! The Nunsense Vegas Revue will be available nationwide on DVD.

"After its 1983 debut in New York City, Dan Goggin's production of Nunsense instantly became a smash hit and ran for over a decade Off-Broadway," state press notes. "Twenty-five years later, Goggin's extremely successful run has grown with six additional Nunsense musicals, each production funnier than the last...The over-the-top musical takes the now familiar Little Sisters of Hoboken to brand new territories and in Vegas-style fashion!" Along with the original cast, the program also includes a guest appearance by Georgia Engel ("Mary Tyler Moore," "Everybody Loves Raymond").  SRO Entertainment presents the DVD premiere on June 26, 2007 for a suggested retail price of $19.99.

Additionally, the DVD will also include a special exclusive interview with writer and director, Dan Goggin.

The new production, which was filmed for television in New York City, stars the world premiere cast that includes Bonnie Lee (Mother Superior), Deborah Del Mastro (Sister Robert Anne), Bambi Jones (Sister Mary Hubert), Carrie Keskinen (Sister Mary Leo) and Jeanne Tinker (Sister Mary Paul aka Amnesia).  In addition, the show features cameo appearances by Georgia Engel as Sister Marie Eugene and Carolyn Droscoski as Gloria, the Pump Room's Head Usher.  Also featured are Dan Foss as Brother Dan and Tom Mustachio as the Pump Room announcer.

Nunsensations! The Nunsense Vegas Revue, the sixth (and naughtiest) of the Nunsense musicals, "takes the Sisters to Las Vegas, after a Hoboken parishioner offers to donate $10,000 to their school if the Sisters agree to perform in a friend's 'Sin City' showroom, the Pump Room Lounge, high atop the third floor of the Mystique Motor Lodge.  Hilarity ensues when the Sisters, convinced that 'what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,' present a Vegas-style performance complete with feathers, sequins, song and dance."

The original version of Nunsense, written and directed by Dan Goggin, premiered in 1983 and expanded to a full-length Off-Broadway production in 1985.  Since then, the Nunsense shows have been presented all over the world in over 8,000 productions (and counting), grossing more than $500,000,000.  During its New York run, Nunsense became the second longest running musical in Off-Broadway history, eclipsed only by The Fantasticks.

Nunsensations! The Nunsense Vegas Revue DVD will be available on June 26th with a run time of 102 minutes and has catalog number D4259.  More information on this release and other SRO Entertainment programs can be found online at www.sroent.com.
