The Storm Theatre will present the New York premiere of The Salvage Shop, written by Jim Nolan and directed by Peter Dobbins. This limited engagement will play Friday, October 28 – Saturday, November 19 at The Storm Theatre (145 West 46th Street). The official opening is set for Wednesday, November 2nd at 7:30 PM.

"Set in contemporary Ireland, The Salvage Shop explores reconciliation, redemption, love and failure through the fraught relationship of legendary local bandleader Sylvie Tansey and his gifted son Eddie. After twelve years, Sylvie still hasn't forgiven his son for abruptly leaving the band, but when his father falls ill, Eddie returns home to care for him. Can a father whose time is running out and a son who's lost his way make amends? With wit, heart and the bond of music, these two men attempt to heal old wounds, salvage their relationship and find the ability to forgive," according to press notes.

The production features Kristen Bush, Karen Eke, Roland Johnson, David Little, Paul Anthony McGrane and Ted McGuinness, and includes sets by Todd Edward Ivins, costumes by Erin Murphy and lighting by Michael Abrams.
