Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, will honor Tony Award-winning director and CSC veteran Walter Bobbie at this year's Annual Benefit Gala on Monday, May 21 at Bridgewaters at South Street Seaport.

Bobbie has directed three acclaimed productions at CSC in recent seasons: New Jerusalem, Venus In Fur (currently on Broadway) and The School for Lies, all written by his longtime collaborator David Ives. Bobbie won the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics awards for his direction of the long-running hit musical Chicago.

The evening will feature special appearances by Nina Arianda, Hugh Dancy, Jenn Gambatese, Norm Lewis, Hamish Linklater, Lorna Luft and Bebe Neuwirth.
