The New Victory Theater's production of Lifeboat will host two special talkbacks. These will begin immediately after the show, which starts at 7PM and runs for approximately 70 minutes, and are open to all ticket-holders. The show tells the true story of two teenage girls on a ship that set sail from Liverpool to Canada to escape the bombings in World War II era Britain. When the ship was torpedoed by a German U-Boat, the two were among the eleven survivors and spent 19 hours on a lifeboat in the water, determined to survive.

On Friday, March 16, Robert Sims, whose father was the Captain of the boat that rescued the two girls, and actresses Suzanne Robertson and Isabelle Joss, will appear at the talkback. The Friday, March 23 talkback will feature ABC's World News Tonight producer and three-time Emmy Award winner Tom Nagorski, whose book Miracles on the Water tells the story of the boat that carried the two girls, the S.S. City of Benares. Nagorski's great-uncle was among the survivors.

Tickets for Lifeboat are $35, $25, and $12.50, and are available through Telecharge.com or by calling 212-239-6200.  Tickets are also on sale at the New Victory box office at 209 West 42nd Street, just west of Broadway, open Sunday and Monday, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm, Tuesday - Saturday, 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm.  Visit www.newvictory.org for more information.
