Following a 16-year tenure as Founder/Senior Minister of Unity of New York, nationally renowned spiritual leader, Paul Tenaglia, begins an independent New Thought ministry with the creation of Spiritual Arts Center NYC - A New Thought Church, commencing November 1st, with weekly Sunday services at 11:00 am.

With his ministry serving a prominent following of New York's performing arts community, in addition to all who seek a better way of living the creative life, this new Center's unique blending of music, song, meditation and inspiration have long been Tenaglia's credo. "Spiritual Arts Center's mission is to awaken the powerful divine artistry all of us possess, and to expand the definition of what it means to be creative, says Tenaglia. "Not only in forms such as performing, writing, painting, and photography are we artistic, but also in cooking, knitting, cosmetology, and psychotherapy. We must be creative in our daily lives if we are to fully express ourselves".

Those attending will relish Paul's universal and thought-provoking messages, peaceful meditations, professional singers & musicians from the Broadway, opera and cabaret stages, as well as celebrated guest performers and speakers from around the country. In addition, they will experience the Center's unique offerings, such as one of a kind events created by Paul called "The Spiritual Broadway Series," in which he explores the deeper levels of our iconic Broadway authors' works and musical theatre themes and characters. Paul's previous Spiritual Broadway messages have included "The Metaphysics of A Chorus Line" with Donna McKechnie; "A Stephen Schwartz New Thought Celebration" with the composer himself; "The Gospel According to Shirley (Valentine)" and "The Spiritual Side of Sondheim".

Spiritual Arts Center NYC is musically led under the co-direction of Luis Villabon (A Chorus Line / Seussical) and Dorothy Bishop (Master Class with Faye Dunaway). Gary Stevens (original cast Merrily We Roll Along and author of The Longest Line) is Director of Center Operations. The Center's first guest vocalist is Teri Ralston (original cast Company/A Little Night Music) on November 1. Spiritual Arts Center NYC honors and celebrates every individual, regardless of gender, race, age, belief system, or sexual orientation.

As a start-up new ministry we are raising funds to seed the church. For gift donations: https://www.gofundme.com/b86a2cec.
