New Dance Group Holds Free All-Day Dance Classes, 9/15

The Grand Opening of the New Dance Group studios will be celebrated on Friday, September 15th with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Reception as well as free all-day dance classes for the public.   

The events will take place at New Dance Group studios, which are located at 305 West 38th Street, on the corner of 8th Avenue, near Penn Station. 

New Dance Group, a 74-year old non-profit arts organization, will open the doors to its new, state-of-the-art, 21,000 square foot facility complete with 11 studios, sprung wood floors, performance spaces, recording studio, etc.  The celebration includes a Morning Ribbon Cutting supported by local dignitaries, leaders in the dance and arts community, and hundreds of dance students.   As a preview to the new studios, New Dance Group will offer free dance classes all day long for kids and adults alike.

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Reception will take place at 10 AM, while the free dance classes will be held from 11 AM to 6 PM.
