Singer-songwriter and actor Nellie McKay has put together a compilation of song tracks paying tribute to "America's sweetheart", singer and actress Doris Day. The disc, titled ‘Normal As Blueberry Pie', will feature 13 songs made famous by Day, including "Wonderful Guy" (from South Pacific), Fats Waller's "Mean to Me," and "Send Me No Flowers."

Nellie McKay is a singer-songwriter, actress, and former stand-up comedienne. Her critically acclaimed first CD, 'Get Away from Me', was produced by The Beatles sound engineer Geoff Emerick and released by Columbia/Sony Records in February 2004.

In 2006, McKay made her Broadway debut in The Threepenny Opera , for which she won a Theatre World Award. ‘Normal As Blueberry Pie' is McKay's fourth studio album.
