Neil Simon's CALIFORNIA SUITE Opens Possum Point Players' Season

To escape the winter chill, Possum Point Players recommend a get-away to "California Suite," the Neil Simon comedy opening Jan. 26 in Possum Hall. A line up of four different sets of guests who end up in the same posh hotel suite over the course of a year, the play showcases couples in many different stages of marriage, not always blissful, and friendship, not always enduring.

Performances of "California Suite" are January 26, 27, 28, and February 2, 3 and 4. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, and $19 for seniors and students and may be purchased at possumpointplayers.org and at 302-856-4560.

"California Suite" is directed by Helen Barlow of Georgetown. She said the cast she has assembled is sharpening their tongues and their wits to bring the humor of Simon to the stage. Performing in the comedy are three other Georgetown residents, Don Megee, Cat Baker and Deb Mengert. Actors from Rehoboth Beach are Hunter Graves, Dan Foskey and Cheryl Graves. Also included in the cast are Tara Wisely, Lewes, Amy Baker-Sheridan, Frankford, Chuck Rafferty, Laurel, and Richard Huffman, Milford.

"California Suite" is presented through special arrangements with Samuel French
