And speaking of launching, we're excited to debut a new pilot program for artists, art businesses, and arts organizations: NYFA Coaching. The program provides targeted coaching services from specialized NYFA staff in the categories of Grant Application or Letter of Inquiry (LOI) Review, Preliminary Funder Research, Fundraising Strategy Building/Planning, Resume and Cover Letter Review, and Design Your Own Coaching Session.

We're in the home stretch for the 2017 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship application cycle. For Taiwanese American artists -- there's a special opportunity to be recognized with the Joanne Y. Chen Fellowship for Taiwanese American artists in the Crafts/Sculpture, Digital/Electronic Arts, Nonfiction Literature, and Printmaking/Drawing/Book Arts categories. Applications for the above four categories as well as Poetry are being accepted through Wednesday, January 25 at 11:59 PM (EST).
