NY Choral Society Performs At 2010 Richard Tucker Music Foundation Concert Gala

New York Choral Society (NYCS) will make its' 18th annual appearance at the Richard Tucker Music Foundation Gala on Sunday, November 14th in Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center at 6:30pm. In an evening led by Maestro Marco Armiliato, NYCS will perform the "Era desso il figlio mio" from Donizetti's Lucrezia Borgia, featuring Angela Meade as soloist, the Act III Finale of Ponchielli's La Gioconda and "Lied der Sylva" from Die Csárdásfürstin by Emmerich Kalman.

The gala will also feature opera world luminaries such as Ferruccio Furlanetto and Anna Netrebko. Other guest artists include members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and 2010 Richard Tucker Award Winner James Valenti.
