Myq Kalpan's 'Small, Dork, and Handsome' Set for 5/20 Release

New Wave Dynamics will release comedian Myq Kaplan's stand-up special Small, Dork, and Handsome on iTunes, Amazon, and most digital retailers and streaming outlets on May 20, 2014.

In Small, Dork, and Handsome, Myq Kaplan brings his trademark mock wimpy attitude to bat for this quick-witted special that finds him deconstructing fist bumps, bat-men, and the philosophical implications of ham and cheese. There's a new-found confidence in the special, highlighted in "Back to the Future, Groundhog Day and Hitler" and "Television, Doctors, and Snakes." Fun for the whole family, except Myq's Grandma, who probably shouldn't listen to it.

Myq made his network television debut on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and has since gone on to appear on Late Show with David Letterman, Conan, The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson and in his own half-hour Comedy Central Presents: Myq Kaplan special. His previous albums, Meat Robot released by Comedy Central Records, and Vegan Mind Meld were both in the top ten bestsellers for iTunes.

He was a Top 5 finalist on the most recent season of Last Comic Standing in 2010 and ended his tour this summer. He has also appeared on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, at the "New Faces" show of the 2009 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, was voted 2008's Best Local Comedian in the Boston Phoenix, and won the NY's Funniest Standup Competition in 2009.
