Michael Amante is set to perform the St. George Theatre on April 4th for one show only.

Press notes that "Michael Amante began singing in Catholic school when he was six. Amante, who grew up in Syracuse, New York, was one of five children. As a boy, he marveled at how his father could always sweep his mother off her feet simply by singing to her in a lilting light tenor voice. "I wanted to do that," he says, "to make people feel that good."

This second generation Italian-American with his more than four octave range combines an operatic tenor's debonair, old-world finesse with the sheer adrenaline rush he discovered as a teenager, when his tenor voice first made itself known soaring with the sound of rock bands.

Amante sings in a variety of languages including Italian, Spanish, French, German and Latin. He also regularly records and performs a mind blowing array of styles from High Classical to Pop/Rock to Gospel and Broadway.

Don't miss the opportunity to experience the American Tenor That Can Sing It All, Michael Amante in this intimate setting. Michael Amante comes to the St. George Theatre, 35 Hyatt Street, Staten Island on Saturday April 4th. Showtime is 8 pm. Tickets are $15, $35, $45 and $50. The St. George is only two blocks from the Staten Island Ferry and a short ferry ride from Manhattan or a short drive from New Jersey. Valet parking is available at the theatre.
