Two-time Tony Award ® winner Matthew Broderick visits "Good Morning America" and Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" this Thursday, September 23rd. Broderick is currently rehearsing his starring role in Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) anticipated revival of Larry Shue's The Foreigner. Broderick's new Disney film The Last Shot opens wide this weekend.

"Good Morning America" airs between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Channel 7 (Time Warner in New York) "The Daily Show" airs Thursday evening on Comedy Central (Time Warner Channel 45) 11:00 p.m. and 12:00AM. Check local listings.

Roundabout Theatre Company's Off-Broadway revival of The Foreigner, also starring Two-time Tony ® Award Winner Frances Sternhagen, begins previews on October 15th, 2004 and opens officially on November 7th at the Laura Pels Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This is a limited engagement through January 16, 2005.

The Foreigner also features Kevin Cahoon, Mary Catherine Garrison, Neal Huff, Byron Jennings and Lee Tergesen.

THE FOREIGNER tells the uproariously farcical tale of a lovable but socially inept Brit who escapes his stressful life by booking a holiday in backwoods U.S.A. He desperately tries to avoid the local yokels by posing as a foreigner who doesn't understand a word of English. But the plan hilariously backfires when he becomes the perfect person with whom all share their deepest secrets and schemes.
