Steve Marzullo, an acclaimed Broadway musical director/pianist/conductor for twenty years, will play his songs at Birdland, Monday, April 30th, at 7PM. The show, The Spirit of Spring- Songs of Love, Sex, and Other Violations, is directed by Jen Bender and features Maryann McSweeney on bass and Sean McDaniel on drums. Accompanying the band will be Judy Blazer, Terri Klausner, Liz Callaway, Melissa Errico, Andrea Burns, Liz Larsen, Ann Harada, Kate Baldwin, Theresa McCarthy, Nina Hennessey, Suzanne Fiore, and Rachel Ulanet.

Marzullo has worked on Once On This Island, Ragtime, Mamma Mia!, Grease (revival), and Suessical. He also composed "I Hid My Love" and "Burning The Sauce" for Audra McDonald's The Seven Deadly Sins, as well as "The Night You Decided To Stay" for Michael Winther's Songs From An Unmade Bed.
