Man Falls From Grand Theatre Balcony During Blackpool and Fylde Light Opera Company's GREASE

Last night's performance of The Blackpool and Fylde Light Opera Company's production of GREASE at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool, U.K., was halted when an 18-year-old male fell from a balcony into an aisle of the orchestra section.

The Telegraph reports that the young man was taken by ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital and that his injuries are not life-threatening.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police confirmed they were called to the incident around 9.30pm.

The Blackpool and Fylde Light Opera Company is the longest established amateur musical comedy society in Blackpool. Established in 1950, they have produced over eighty productions from Operetta to West End Musicals.
