Tony Award-winners Anika Noni Rose (Dreamgirls film, Caroline, or Change), Lea Salonga (Les Miserables, Miss Saigon) and John Lloyd Young (Jersey Boys) - backed by the New York Pops - will perform the prerecorded score of the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Celebration, taking place in New York City at 9 PM.

Please note that the stars will not perform live.

NBC's broadcast of the celebration will air that evening live at 9 PM.  The Macy's website states: "The nation's largest and most incredible birthday bash lights up the night sky with over 120,000 bursts of color, light and breathtaking pyrotechnics from around the world!  Look to the night sky as vibrant blazes burst 1,000 feet in the air while the New York Pops serenade the celebration with a riveting soundtrack honoring America's diverse people and places. Open your ears and heart to our whimsical fireworks soundtrack on radio station 1010 WINS or watch our star-studded NBC special." The New York Pops will be conducted by Rob Fisher.

The event will feature a tribute to the great American songwriter Stephen Foster; "What a Wonderful World" with a prerecorded track performed by Young; "In Our Children's Eyes," with lyrics by Macy's Creative Director William Schermerhorn, music by Tony Award-winner Stephen Flaherty, and performed by Rose and The Young People's Chorus of New York City; and "Just Beyond the Dream," with lyrics by Schermerhorn and music by Brian Besterman, performed by Salonga.
