MTC's A Picasso Ends Limited Engagement on May 29th

Jeffrey Hatcher's A Picasso, which is presented by Manhattan Theatre Club and directed by Jeffrey Hatcher, will end its limited engagement at New York City Center's Stage II on Sunday, May 29th at 7:30 PM; it will have played 21 previews and 48 performances.

Starring Dennis Boutsikaris and Jill Eikenberry, the show iset during the German occupation of Paris.  A Picasso imagines a confrontation between Picasso (Dennis Boutsikaris) and a mysterious interrogator, Miss Fischer (Jill Eikenberry), concerning several confiscated works.

The production's set design is by Allen Moyer, costume design is by Jane Greenwood, lighting design is by Duane Schuler and sound design is by Scott Killian.

A Picasso's performance schedule is: Tuesday through Sunday at 7:30 PM, with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 PM.  Tickets, which are $48, can be reserved by calling CityTix at (212) 581-1212. Student tickets are $25, and are on sale for all performances based on availability, on the day of the performance, up to one hour before show time.
