While its Tony Award winning production of the musical The Light In The Piazza continues its run at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, Lincoln Center Theater will present a new production of Edward Albee's Pulitzer Prize winning play SEASCAPE on Broadway this fall at The Booth Theatre, 222 West 45 Street. The production, which will feature George Grizzard, Elizabeth Marvel, Frances Sternhagen and Frederick Weller, and which will be directed by Mark Lamos, will begin performances Friday, October 28, open on Monday, November 21 and run for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 8.

EDWARD ALBEE'S SEASCAPE premiered on Broadway in 1974 and won the 1975 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, one of three won by the playwright. His recent works include the Tony Award winning Best Play The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia?, The Play About The Baby and Three Tall Women, which won him his third Pulitzer Prize in 1995.

Director Mark Lamos returns to Lincoln Center Theater where he directed last season's production of Sheridan's The Rivals, A.R. Gurney's Big Bill, and Shakespeare's Measure for Measure. George Grizzard won a Tony Award for his performance in the LCT production of Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance. Elizabeth Marvel appeared in the LCT production of Wendy Wasserstein's An American Daughter and recently played the title role in NYTW's production of Hedda Gabler. Frances Sternhagen is a Tony winner for her performance in the LCT production of The Heiress and more recently won a Tony nomination for her performance in the LCT production of Mornings at Seven. Frederick Weller, who is currently appearing on Broadway in David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross, appeared in the LCT productions of The Little Foxes and Six Degrees of Separation.

EDWARD ALBEE'S SEASCAPE will have sets by Michael Yeargan, costumes by Catherine Zuber and lighting by Peter Kaczorowski.
