Lincoln Center to Close out 2005-6 Season with Greenberg's The House in Town

Richard Greenberg's THE HOUSE IN TOWN, directed by Doug Hughes, will complete the Newhouse season, beginning performances on Thursday, May 11, opening Thursday, June 8. Richard Greenberg, the Tony Award winning author of Take Me Out, returns to LCT, where his play Everett Beekin was given its New York premiere in 2001. Doug Hughes, who won a 2005 Tony Award for his direction of Doubt, A Parable, will make his Lincoln Center Theater debut directing this production. Performances begin Thursday, May 11. Opening night is Thursday, June 8.

Now in its 21st season, Lincoln Center Theater is currently presenting its award-winning production of the Craig Lucas-Adam Guettel musical The Light in the Piazza, winner of six 2005 Tony Awards including Best Score and Best Actress in a Musical (Victoria Clark), at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
