The 48th season of Lincoln Center's Great Performers series, which will run from October 20, 2013 through June 2, 2014, was announced today by Jane Moss, Ehrenkranz Artistic Director. The 2013-2014 season features symphonic and period-instrument chamber orchestra concerts, recital series, and a film series, and includes pre- and post-concert discussions and lectures. Events take place in Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the Walter Reade Theater, the Elinor Bunin Monroe Film Center, and the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse.

Commenting on the Great Performers 2013-2014 season, Jane Moss said, "Whether it's the massed forces of The Cleveland Orchestra and Chorus in Beethoven's monumental Mass in C, the Emerson String Quartet plumbing the depths of Shostakovich's late quartets, or an Arvo Pärt choral work interpreted in an unconventional configuration by the Dublin Guitar Quartet, the season promises a wealth of outstanding experiences for music lovers."

Subscriptions Tickets for Great Performers 2013-2014, are on sale beginning February 5, 2013. Single Tickets are available starting June 12. Visit: www.LCGreatPerformers.org.
