Academy Award® nominee Lesley Ann Warren, who starred in the 1965 television version of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella will attend the Broadway production and join the cast during the curtain call for an encore performance of "Ten Minutes Ago" on September 23.

Lesley Ann Warren will appear the following night-Wednesday, September 24, 7pm-at Barnes & Noble, 150 East 86th Street (at Lexington), where she will perform songs, be interviewed by celebrity interviewer and blogger Richard Skipper and sign copies of the DVD. The store will offer priority seating with purchase of the DVD at this special event.

Long out of print on home video, the 50th Anniversary Edition showcases a new high quality transfer from the original master, as well as a special featurette that includes many of the principal cast members reminiscing about this memorable television event. Re-released and digitally remastered by Shout! Factory, Cinderella debuted as the #1 Best Seller on the Musical DVD charts its first week of release.

Academy Award® nominee Lesley Ann Warren is charming as the raggedy waif turned belle of the ball with Broadway star Stuart Damon (also well-known for his role on General Hospital) as the Prince. Also starring Oscar® nominee Walter Pidgeon and Academy Award® winners Ginger Rogers and Celeste Holm, Cinderella will waltz into the hearts of the entire family and live happily ever after as one of the most irresistible musicals ever made.

The 1965 remake of the original 1957 version (which starred Julie Andrews) was filmed on videotape, it enjoyed repeated airings throughout the 1960's and 1970's. Richard Rodgers was on board as Executive Producer, and he sanctioned the addition of a couple of Rodgers & Hammerstein songs to the score - most notably "Loneliness of Evening."

Starting October 15 the Broadway production of Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella will return to performing Wednesday evenings and will no longer play Thursday matinees. The schedule will be Tuesdays at 7 pm; Wednesdays at 2 pm and 7:30pm; Thursdays at 7:30 pm; Fridays at 8 pm; Saturdays at 2 and 8 pm and Sundays at 3 pm.

Now in its second year on Broadway, Cinderella has played to large and enthusiastic audiences since opening on March 3, 2013 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway) and will continue delighting audiences across the country when the national tour launches in Providence, RI on October 10.

Currently appearing in Cinderella are Keke Palmer as Cinderella, Joe Carroll as Prince Topher, Sherri Shepherd as Madame, Judy Kaye as the Fairy Godmother, Ann Harada as stepsister Charlotte, Stephanie Gibson as stepsister Gabrielle, Peter Bartlett as Sebastian, Prince Topher's mentor and Lord Chancellor, Todd Buonopane as the rebel Jean-Michel and Phumzile Sojola as Lord Pinkleton.

Cinderella has music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, a new book by Douglas Carter Beane and original book by Oscar Hammerstein II. The musical is directed by Mark Brokaw. Josh Rhodes is choreographer. Music adaptation, supervision and arrangements are by David Chase. Orchestrations are by Danny Troob. Constantine Kitsopoulos is currently music director and conductor. Casting for CINDERELLA for Broadway and the national tour is by Cindy Tolan and Adam Caldwell.

With its fresh, new take on the beloved tale of a young woman who is transformed from a chambermaid into a princess, this hilarious and romantic Cinderella combines the story's classic elements - glass slippers, pumpkin, a beautiful ball and more - with some surprise twists. More than just a pretty face with the right shoe size, the Cinderella of the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical now on Broadway is a surprisingly contemporary figure living in a fairytale setting: a spirited young woman with savvy and soul, eager to develop a world view, she doesn't let her rags or her gowns trip her up in her quest for kindness, compassion and forgiveness. She not only fights for her own dreams, but makes the prince, who falls in love with her, open his eyes to the world around him and realize his dreams, too.
