Although she currently says she is "not ready," Lea Michele has announced that she hopes to one day record a solo album, following in the footsteps of GLEE costar Matthew Morrison.  For the time being, Michele wants to focus on her acting career and developing the character of Rachel Berry. Speaking to Us Weekly, she said "I think a solo CD is definitely in my future, but that is a really big commitment. Rachel's my baby, and making an album would be like taking care of another baby. And I'm not really ready to have another kid yet!"

GLEE is presently on hiatus. Lea Michele and the rest of the cast return on February 6th in an episode following Super Bowl XLV. The episode will costar Katie Couric and feature Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
