'Lbs.' Receives Extension of Premiere Run at Village East Cinema, Through 4/8

"Lbs." has received a week extension at the Village East Cinema and is now showing through April 8th. Nearly ten years in the making, "Lbs." opened in theatres starting March 26th at the Village East Cinema (181-189 2nd Avenue, 12th Street NYC 10003) and will now play through April 8, 2010.

Depicting a man's struggle with obesity and his all-consuming obsession with food - a misunderstood addiction that's been showing its face and challenging cultures for decades - "Lbs." reflects the relentless battle of will over vice.

Showtimes for the film are 12:50pm, 2:40pm, 5:00pm, 7:30pm, and 10:00pm, with a question and answer session following the 5:00pm and 7:30pm showings.
