Broadway luminaries such as Nathan Lane and Harvey Fierstein will take part in the Christoper Reeve Foundation's gala "A Magical Evening"  on Monday, November 6th at the Marriott Marquis (1535 Broadway, 7th Floor).  It will begin at 5 PM, with dinner at 7:30 PM.

The evening will be a tribute to the late Christopher and Dana Reeve, who were both respected actors noted for their humanitarian work--particularly in fighting against spinal cord injury, from which Christopher Reeve suffered.  In addition to Lane and Fierstein, the gala will feature Alexandra and Will Reeve, Joan Collins, Olivia Wilde, and many more.  There will be performances by Beauty and the Beast's Donny Osmond, as well as from The Times They Are A-Changin's Lisa BresciaTarzan's Josh Strickland and Jenn Gambatese, and the stars of Jersey Boys.

The Christopher Reeve Foundation will present Cristina Carlino, Founder & CEO, philosophy, inc. with the first-ever Dana Reeve Hope Award.  Bruce C. Ratner, President & CEO, Forest City Ratner Companies and The Honorable Thomas H. Kean will receive The Visionary Leadership Award.  The event will feature an elegant cocktail reception and dinner in addition to a "Magic Ticket" raffle featuring one-of-a-kind luxury items.

The Christopher Reeve Foundation is dedicated to finding treatments and cures for spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the lives of people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.
