Landmark on Main Street Sets November 9 Spotlight Gala '13 with Rita Wilson

Incredible music, gourmet delicacies and a sophisticated ambiance are hallmarks of Landmark on Main Street's Spotlight Gala. On November 9, Spotlight Gala '13 will step it up a notch when Rita Wilson's performance takes us on an enchanting musical journey followed by a glamorous Hollywood-like Party in the tented Spotlight Club.

Landmark proudly honors Peter Forman (Port Washington/Manhasset Office of Emergency Management), Kirby Veevers (Adjunct Professor, Hofstra Universityand Independent Program Consultant) & Eric Rubenstein (Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, PC) and Tai Wang (WAC Lighting) for their contributions to the organization and the community. The Gala Leadership is headed by Chairs Joann & Anthony Sica and Kay & Leo Ullman.

Gala Star, Rita Wilson, is well-known as an actress (It's Complicated, Sleepless in Seattle, The Good Wife) and a film producer (My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Mamma Mia!), but her early show biz ambitions were actually musical. Wilsonhas finally achieved her dream with the release of her debut album AM/FM -- an intimate and beautifully sung collection of classics from the '60s and '70s that together make up the soundtrack to her life. And as The Huffington Postdeclares of her elegant renditions of these songs, "Rita Wilson's performance on this debut CD is tasteful, classy, and reverent -- a songwriter's dream." The Spotlight Shines on Rita Wilson's must see Landmark debut.

After the performance Gala attendees will feast on a gorgeous array of delicious foods and desserts reflecting the ethnic diversity of the evening's line-up of guest performer and honorees. The menu will take attendees on a cultural culinary journey evoking films such as "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and "Eat Drink Man Woman."

The Spotlight Gala is Landmark's most important fundraising event of the year. Gala packages, tickets and journal ads can be purchased by calling 516-767-2355 or emailing
