Audiences can now see Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's hit show Love, Loss, and What I Wore on both coasts! As the original New York production (produced by Daryl Roth) celebrates its milestone 250th performance, Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse's production of Love, Loss and What I Wore opens tonight at their Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater.

The Geffen Playhouse production is directed by Jenny Sullivan and stars Caroline Aaron, Carol Kane, Natasha Lyonne, Tracee Ellis Ross and Rita Wilson. (All except Aaron are alumnae of Daryl Roth's New York production of the show.) This first L.A. cast will perform through June 6. A second cast, playing through the production's final performance on July 4, will be announced shortly.

Roth commented, "I'm so delighted with the response we're having in New York and thrilled that now more people will have the chance to enjoy this funny and poignant show."

In NYC, Love, Loss, and What I Wore opened in October 2009 and has been playing to sold-out houses at The Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd Street). Directed by Karen Carpenter, this collection of stories is based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman, as well as on the recollections of the Ephrons' friends. Like the popular book, Love, Loss, and What I Wore uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to. The production is performed by a rotating cast of five all-star actors, who perform in four-week cycles.

The show continues in NYC at The Westside Theatre, where the current cast includes Anna Chlumsky, Julie Halston, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Doris Roberts and Brooke Shields (through Sunday, May 23). Future cast members include Penny Fuller, ShaRon Lawrence, Diane Neal, Sherri Shepherd, Cobie Smulders and many more.
