Kyle Grooms Set for Series of Shows at Comix At Foxwoods, Begin. 12/5

With accomplishments as an actor, writer and comic, Kyle Grooms will bring his versatility to the Comix At Foxwoods stage for four shows beginning Thursday, Dec. 5. Grooms will take the microphone at 8 p.m. nightly before performing a doubleheader to close things out with a 10:30 p.m. 'nasty'-themed show on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Tickets are on sale now and are $20 for general advance admission ($30 day of) with VIP advance admission tickets available for $40 ($50 day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.

Throughout his career, Grooms has appeared in his own Comedy Central half-hour stand-up special and has made multiple appearances on VH1, NBC's Last Comic Standing, and famed sketch comedy show, Chappelle's Show. His first comedy CD, "The Legend of the Jersey Devil," was named one of iTunes' "Top 100 Comedy CDs" of 2009.

With uniqueness all his own, Grooms delivers an honest and intelligent view of the world, while giving an intimate look into his life experiences growing up in the American melting pot. He has been featured on several television, radio and internet broadcasts, such as P-Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy, Jamie Foxx's Laffapalooza, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, The Byron Allen Show, BET Comic View and Red Carpet Fashion.

A regular on the New York comedy scene, he has performed at several top clubs, including Caroline's, Comic Strip, Comedy Cellar and Gotham. Grooms has even brought his act overseas, performing at the "Le Grande Journal" in France and has made several appearances in national TV ad campaigns for companies including T-Mobile, Sears, Career Builders and Holiday Inn Express. Grooms continues to grow as a stand-up comedian, writer and actor, and can currently be seen performing worldwide.
