Kristin Hanggi & ROCK OF AGES Creative Team Set for Relativity School Panel Today

By:

Relativity School of Film, Media and Performing Arts host a panel discussion with the creative team behind one of the longest running shows in Broadway history tonight, July 22nd from 3-5pm PST at LA Center Studios, 450 South Bixel St, LA, CA 90017.

This is the first time the creative team tells the amazing story of ROCK OF AGES at a live panel. The team includes: Chris D'Arienzo (writer), Kristin Hanggi (director), Matt Weaver (lead producer), Hillary Weaver (producer), Janet Billig Rich (producer and music supervisor), Dave Gibbs (orchestrations and arrangements), and Scott Prisand (producer).

VP Boyle (COO of Relativity School of Film, Media, and Performing Arts) will moderate the panel followed by a Q&A. Tickets to the Broadway show will be given away to a lucky attendee.

The panel is free and open to all, but those who cannot attend can stream the event live at https://new.livestream.com/RelativitySchool/roadtorock.

Kristin Hanggi received a 'Best Direction' Tony nomination for her Broadway staging of ROCK OF AGES and also helmed the West End, Off-Broadway, National Tour, Toronto and Australia productions. Hillary Weaver has been with the show since its inception and was also producer of PUSSYCAT DOLLS LIVE AT THE ROXY with Christina Applegate, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera and Charlize Theron. Matt Weaver's other film producing credits include WE'RE THE MILLERS, THE HEARTBREAK KID and JIRO DREAMS OF SUSHI.

Relativity School of Film, Media and Performing Arts is the only school of its kind created in partnership with a motion picture studio. Relativity School offers 3-week teen camps and adult intensives in Filmmaking, Acting, Commercial Dance, and Specialized Media, including a focus on online video. All offerings are firmly rooted in a Team & Mentor Approach that fosters multi-disciplinary collaboration, original content creation, and entrepreneurship. Programs feature Collaboration Labs that foster a unique mix of interactions designed to spur creative thinking and innovative content creation. The school is located in downtown Los Angeles at LA Center Studios, a full-service TV, film and production studio, affording all students the opportunity to work on practical sets in a professional production environment.
